"I like the very classic Japanese look, with the full tang and visible rivets. The blade curves at the end, which makes certain tasks easier, especially the quick chopping of herbs. The handle, though not rounded, is incredibly smooth, so none of the edges dig into the palm. And the bolster is nicely curved to allow the middle finger to pass underneath, without interfering with the thumb, which is comfortably placed on the blade."
